CHALLENGE

Marlies Dekkers is on track when it comes to sustainability in the supply chain. The brand was founded with one clear mission: empowering women to follow their own path in life. With representatives across the organization, the sustainability team faced one main challenge in bringing sustainability to the next level: How to connect the value chain from start to end under the same core mission?

SOLUTION
Environmental and social impact are at the heart of the brand. As next step, we supported them in setting up a female empowerment program in the value chain. Engaging the women that make the lingerie, to understand their needs, was the starting point. That’s how we co-created a women focused and needs-based program within the factories. The program enables Marlies Dekkers to unlock the potential of these women and carry their brand mission across the value chain.
