To empower designers and exporters from developing countries to enter the European market with products and brands that fit the needs of the European consumer.

INSIGHTS

What if designers would combine their strengths and position themselves as a larger country or sector brand on the European market to reach more scale and brand exposure (such as Dutch Design), rather than operating as small independent brands?

SOLUTION

We developed a branding module within the CBI export marketing program. Through masterclasses, co-creation sessions and accessible branding tools, we trained designers and exporters to develop a unique and meaningful brand.

POSITIVE IMPACT

  • Training designers and design exporters from Africa, Asia, South America and Eastern Europe to reach scale and sell their products internationally
  • Supporting the South African Fair Trade sector, the Mongolian Kashmir sector and the Egyptian wellness sector with sustainable sector development and meaningful product branding
